Turkish Food Industry has shown a steady growth during the last period. Besides the increase in number of females working in full-time jobs, increase in net income and the change in consumer choices have all made a big contribution for the increase of interest towards packed and processed ready-made and frozen foods. Turkey’s food, beverage and tobacco balance, by taking into consideration the size of agricultural industry, is expected to show a positive growth for the period between 2009-2014. (Invest in Turkey Report 2011).  Taking all these into account, there is no doubt that the raw material demand will also increase.
